Itinerary
- Day 1. Arrival Kathmandu, transfer to hotel, evening program briefing. Meal plan: Breakfast (B), Lunch (L), Dinner (D).
- Day 2. Morning Tibet visa form signature (if biometric required, visit China visa center). After visa process, we organize a sightseeing tour to Pashupatinath, Jal Narayan, and Guheshwari Temple. Evening Pashupatinath Arati Darshan.
- Day 3. Take a day for visa process day as leisure. You can do some private trips like Chandragiri Hill or Doleshor Mahadev at your own cost. After lunch, prepare for the Kailash trip. Meal plan: Breakfast (B), Lunch (L), Dinner (D).
- Day 4. Fly Kathmandu/Lhasa (3,700m), transfer to hotel. Meal plan: Breakfast (B), Lunch (L), Dinner (D).
- Day 5. City tour in Lhasa: Visit world-famous Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple & Barkhor. Overnight in hotel. Meal plan: Breakfast (B), Lunch (L), Dinner (D).
- Day 6. Early morning drive 360km to Shigatse (3,900m) via new road. Visit Tashilhunpo Monastery, home to the world’s highest (33m) gold-gilded statue of future Buddha, Maitreya. Overnight in hotel. Meal plan: Breakfast (B), Lunch (L), Dinner (D).
- Day 7. Drive 340km to Saga, join the regular Kailash route. Overnight at New Saga Hotel. Meal plan: Breakfast (B), Lunch (L), Dinner (D).
- Day 8. Drive 385km to Lake Manasarovar (4,500m). A very auspicious day as you witness the first glimpse of Holy Manasarovar and Mt. Kailash from Horchu Pass. Overnight at Chhu Gompa Lodge by the lake. Meal plan: Breakfast (B), Lunch (L), Dinner (D).
- Day 9. Participate in Puja, Havana worship, meditation, and take a holy bath at Lake Manasarovar. Afternoon drive to Darchen (30km, 4,560m). Overnight at a hotel. Meal plan: Breakfast (B), Lunch (L), Dinner (D).
- Day 10. Darchen to Diraphuk (18km). Kora (circuit) begins. Drive 10km to Tarboche and trek approximately 4-5 hours to Diraphuk (4,890m). Overnight in a guesthouse. Meal plan: Breakfast (B), Lunch (L), Dinner (D).
- Day 11. Trek to Zuthulphuk (22km). This is the most challenging day of the trip, including a trek up to Dolma La Pass (5,600m). Offer prayers and continue to Gaurikunda. Overnight in a guesthouse. Meal plan: Breakfast (B), Lunch (L), Dinner (D).
- Day 12. Zuthulphuk to Saga. After breakfast, trek around 8km to the pickup point, then drive to Darchen, completing the Parikrama (circuit). After lunch, drive to Saga. Overnight in a hotel. Meal plan: Breakfast (B), Lunch (L), Dinner (D).
- Day 13. Drive back to Shigatse. Meal plan: Breakfast (B), Lunch (L), Dinner (D).
- Day 14. Drive to Lhasa. After lunch, free time for shopping. Meal plan: Breakfast (B), Lunch (L), Dinner (D).
- Day 15. Fly back to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel. Meal plan: Breakfast (B), Lunch (L), Dinner (D).
- Day 16. Departure transfer to Kathmandu airport. Trip concludes. Meal plan: Breakfast (B).
Additional Muktinath Tour Along with Kailash Tour (Yatra)

- Day 16. Instead of departure after Kailash Yatra, start Muktinath Yatra early morning. Drive to Pokhara via Manakamana Temple. Overnight halt at a hotel in Pokhara. Meal plan: Breakfast (B), Lunch (L), Dinner (D).
- Day 17. Early morning flight to Jomsom, then drive to Muktinath Temple (by Jeep), allowing ample time for yatris to perform pooja and take a bath. Afternoon drive back to Jomsom. Overnight stay at a hotel in Jomsom. Meal plan: Breakfast (B), Lunch (L), Dinner (D).
- Day 18. Early morning flight back to Pokhara. Afternoon half-day Pokhara sightseeing, followed by a flight back to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel. Meal plan: Breakfast (B), Lunch (L), Dinner (D).
- Day 19. After breakfast, departure transfer. Trip concludes. Meal plan: Breakfast (B).
